Happy Hour & Exhibit Showing

Meet us at The Herkimer Pub & Brewery one block south of Intermedia Arts at 5 PM to meet and greet the artists and curators (and enjoy 2-4-1 pints and $3.50 appetizers until 6pm). This informal get together will be followed at 6:30 by a short walk over the Greenway to Intermedia Arts for a special "after hours" showing of the exhibit.

Psychogeographic Map Making Party

Saturday, May 31, 2008 • Noon

Join Solutions Twin Cities at Intermedia Arts for a psychogeographic walking tour & map-making party. You'll form small groups and set out on foot in search of unique insights into the urban fabric of the surrounding Uptown neighborhoods. Utilizing Google Earth, a projector, and a wall sized "canvas", the groups will then begin to layer their experiences during the walk over a projected representation of the city. When the projection is taken away, we are left with a psychogeographic map of Uptown that communicates our collective experience. These efforts will result in one map that will be on display at Solutions Volume 3 later this summer. Drinks, a necessary component of any map making party, will be provided to assist the creative spirit. Free and open to all.
