Intermedia Arts presents a four-day multidisciplinary festival as a RADICAL EXPERIMENT seeking to test, redefine and innovate the use of space, performative technique and the role of the audience. Twin Cities artists were invited to present Film, Performance, Visual Art, and Musical work. The festival features Eric F. Avery, NuSkein, Ellen Hinchcliffe, RARE Productions and Tru Ruts’ Sankofa Film Festival.

SANKOFA FILM FESTIVAL

Films from the African Diaspora

In partnership with IFP MN, The Walker Art Center and MN Film Society

The Sankofa Film Festival features films that showcase narratives of the divergent and dynamic stories of Black life in the US and internationally. Saturday's program For the Fam features short films for families and younger audiences. Sunday's program Short Stories features short films from the Diaspora.
