Descend into the underworld in SIDESHOW, the interactive visual arts exhibition where seven Twin Cities-based artists use the distinct aesthetics of hip-hop to mirror, stencil, sketch, paint and project a multi-dimensional landscape and interactive game gallery exploring power, self, identity, and sexuality.

Come rap about it, write about it, paint about it, speak about it! With Project Girl, you have a chance to make your stand and express your reactions to the world around you. Explore the effects of media and entertainment culture through writing, poetry, and visual arts! Open to youth in grades 6 –12. This series of hands-on workshops will teach you both the technical and conceptual skills needed to make a successful film. Collaborate with other teens, working in small groups to create your film. Grades 7-12.

Performed by internationally recognized hip-hop icons Rokafella and Kwikstep, Innaviews is a once-in-a-lifetime journey into the passionate lifestyle of hip-hop artists that confronts the truths and misconceptions of hip-hop itself.

Full Circle Productions will conduct a dance workshop, specifically designed for young people ages 12-18. This workshop will teach techniques of hip hop dance to young people while providing positive and inspirational role models through artists Rokafella and Kwikstep's leadership.

Legacies of War tells the story of a forgotten chapter in U.S. history through the voices of villagers from Laos and the Diaspora at large. With local guest curator Malichansouk Kouanchao.

Don't miss the B-Girl Be Carnival Block Party, the one-of-a-kind festival that runs all day and into the night to bring international, national and local female hip-hop artists together at Intermedia Arts for music, dance, live mural painting, film and an art marketplace!
