Urban youth from St. Paul are using use live, social justice theater to create a city-wide, youth-lead campaign to overcome issues of street violence, bullying, and racial inequalities. In light of the national attention surrounding the killing of Trayvon Martin local shootings of innocent bystanders in our neighborhoods, a collective student voice has entered the conversation about facing these problem. Hosted by Eco Education.

Eco Education's Annual Spring Celebration and Fundraiser: Beyond the Classroom, Celebrating Our Community! We welcome teachers, students, supporters, and community partners to come together in celebration of student accomplishments and to learn more about Eco Education's programs and plans for the year ahead. The event will feature youth performance, locally-grown food from Common Roots Catering, and a silent auction.

Spoken-word has always been about community: inter-generational, inter-disciplinary, inter-media. Witness the next generation of teen artists take the stage and express themselves.
Curated and hosted by Kyle "Guante" Mhyre. If you're a teen spoken-word artist and you'd like to sign up to perform, simply show up early and add your name to list. This is a space for Twin Cities youth to speak on whatever they need to speak on.

We invite our community and the public in to join us in celebrating the awesome ideas that come from the community, have a drink on us and add your own ideas to the drawing board.
Over the last three months, Intermedia Arts has invited over 60 artists, curators, youth, board, staff, neighbors and partners together to vision with us about the future of our property and facility. From green roofs to lipstick couches, natural light to art studios, food markets to dance clubs, the idea have ranged from the practical to the whimsical and everything in between. At 6:30PM, we will have a short program in the theater sharing some of our goals and plans moving forward.
