Antonio Rosell, an urban planner and civil engineer, explores the connections between the frameworks around us and the opportunities available to us. Antonio uses photographs, drawings and hands-on activities to highlight how the layout and design of our cities influences the way we live our daily lives. Antonio also studies the impacts of globalization and development; tourism; and free trade on indigenous and rural communities in Central America and the Caribbean.

Originally from Peru, Antonio lived with his family as an "illegal alien" for several years. His work also explores the contribution of immigrant communities to the vitality of our cities and places.
